Apple announces iOS 10
To start off with, here\’s some massive news for all your Apple addicts out there… Apple unveiled iOS 10 at its annual developer conference.
As usual, the newest iteration of the Apple operating system guarantees that iPhone and iPad users will benefit from a variety of new features, such as improved 3D Touch shortcuts, further third-party integrations and redesigned Apple apps.

Microsoft to acquire LinkedIn for $26.2B
If Apple\’s i0S 10 announcement didn\’t get you off your seat, this certainly will. Microsoft have announced that it is acquiring LinkedIn for $26.2 billion in cash. To put that number into perspective, that\’s more than the annual GDPs (2014) of Mongolia and Albania combined. Crazy right?
Anyway, although LinkedIn will be keeping its branding and product, its acquisition allows Microsoft to enhance its reach in terms of social networking services and professional content.

Playstation VR is coming
To all my geeks, this is the news we\’ve been waiting for. PlayStation have announced that the PlayStation VR headset will be coming to a store near you on October 13th, priced at $399. I literally can\’t hide my own excitement about this and the fact that there will be 50 games available for the platform before the end of the year just makes it all that much sweeter.

Elon Musk speaks at the Code Conference
Last but not least, here\’s a 90-minute video of Elon Musk speaking at the 2016 Code Conference.
For those of you who don\’t know who he is, Elon Musk is the founder, CEO and CTO of SpaceX; CEO of Tesla Motors, co-founder of Zip2 and PayPal.. Must I really go on? Basically the guy\’s an entrepreneurial genius with a passion for applied physics. Moving on from my awkward man crush, this video addresses many mind-boggling topics such as sending a mission to Mars, self-driving functionalities for Tesla cars, the dangers of artificial intelligence and whether or not we\’re actually living in a computer simulation.
